A daybook for
the things you keep.

Receipts, bills, and the things you own — all in one calm, offline place. Snap, file, find. No accounts, no tracking, no ads.

Local-first · no accounts · no ads

Built for people who still believe in keeping receipts — digitally, calmly, and on their own terms.

01 / RECEIPTS

Snap it once.
Keep it forever.

The crumpled paper in your wallet finally has a home. Photograph a receipt, add the details, and it's filed forever — surviving moves, phone upgrades, and tax season.

  • 01 Fast capture. Photograph a receipt, then add vendor, total, and date in seconds. The app helps where it can — you stay in control of what gets saved.
  • 02 Per-item tagging. A grocery receipt isn't one expense. Mark the rice cooker as an asset, the rice as a recurring expense, the plastic bag as nothing.
  • 03 Full-text search. Find a receipt by anything you remember — vendor, item, date range, payment method. SQLite FTS5 under the hood.

Money in motion.
Made visible.

Four views, one story. Watch the month unfold in the Overview, log everyday spending in Expenses, stay ahead of recurring bills, and keep tabs on every subscription. Each surface answers a different question — together they give you the whole shape of your money.

  • 01 Overview. The month-so-far at a glance — total spent, category breakdown, what's due next. Open the app and know where you stand in three seconds.
  • 02 Expenses. Everyday spending — the Grab ride, the lunch, the ₱50 parking — captured fast. Tag it by category, link it to a receipt, move on.
  • 03 Bills. Smart due-date alerts scaled to how late you tend to be. When a bill jumps 30% over its trailing average, we tell you — aircon weather, rate hikes, the slow creep.
  • 04 Subscriptions. Renewal dates surfaced, annual cost rolled up. The free trial that became a recurring charge — caught.

  • 02 Warranty countdown. A clock for every covered item. Two weeks before expiry, we nudge you. Worth more than the app costs.
  • 03 Searchable by serial. The number on the box, in your hand, in seconds. Insurance claims got easier.

— Local-first by design

No accounts.
No ads.
No tracking.

Your receipts and bills live in a SQLite database on your device. Local-first by design — no login screens, no analytics SDKs, no ad networks. Anything that touches the network does so with your explicit opt-in.

01
Your data, your device.

All storage is local — encrypted at rest with the OS keychain. iCloud / Google Drive backup is optional and end-to-end encrypted.

02
No product analytics.

No Mixpanel, no Amplitude, no Segment. We don't know what you scan, what you tag, or whether you opened the app today.

03
Export anytime.

Receipts, expenses, and assets all export as CSV or PDF. Your archive is yours — leaving us is one tap.

— Why we built this

I got tired of the shoebox. Of finding faded receipts after I needed them, missing warranty dates by a week, and discovering I'd been paying for a streaming service I didn't watch. Most apps that solve this want my email, my bank login, and my data on their servers.

StubKeeper is the app I wanted instead — local, private, calm. A digital daybook for the small paper proofs of life. Built in the Philippines, designed to work anywhere people keep things.

— Marc, founder
— Frequently asked

The honest answers.

Is there an account or login?
No. There's no account creation, no email verification, no password to recover. You install the app and start using it. Optional iCloud or Google Drive backup uses your existing platform account — we never see those credentials.
How is this different from Smart Receipts, Expensify, or Wave?
Three things. One: we're local-first — your data stays on your device by default. Features that touch the network (like cloud backup) are opt-in and end-to-end encrypted. Two: we cover all three layers (receipts, expenses, and assets) in one place, so a Puregold rice cooker can be both an expense and a tracked warranty. Three: the design is calm, not transactional. This is an archive, not a dashboard.
Is it really offline? What about scanning receipts?
Yes, entirely offline. Photograph a receipt, add the details, save — nothing needs to leave your phone. No internet needed for capture or storage.
Does it work in my country / currency?
Yes. Multi-currency support is built in from day one. Default currency is detected from your phone's locale — Philippines defaults to PHP, US to USD, Singapore to SGD, and so on. You can change it any time and mix currencies on individual records.
Can I switch between devices?
Yes — through optional iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android) backup. Your encrypted database is stored in your own cloud account. We never see it. Restoring on a new device is a single tap.
What about my privacy?
Our privacy policy is short because there's not much to say. No accounts, no analytics, no ad networks, no third-party SDKs that phone home. The only data we see is what you choose to send us via email — and we only use it to reply.
What happens if I lose my phone?
If you've enabled iCloud or Google Drive backup (one tap during onboarding), your encrypted database is restored automatically when you install StubKeeper on a new device. If you didn't enable backup, the data is gone — that's the trade-off of fully local-first. We strongly recommend turning on backup, but it's your choice.
